Hal graduated from the University of Bath with a degree in Natural Sciences and a strong interest in data, coding, and problem solving. While he had solid academic knowledge and a successful placement year in a computational science role, he found it difficult to translate this experience into job opportunities in data analytics.
He joined the programme in June 2025 looking for support to become job-ready for entry-level data roles.

Hal first completed structured training in Python, SQL, Power BI, and machine learning, and passed all certifications on his first attempt.
