Background
Fariha has a background in mathematics, customer service, and financial administration, where she developed strong operational and analytical foundations through hands-on work with data, reporting, and customer-focused processes. She was looking for a structured pathway to transition into a data-focused career and further develop her technical skills.
She joined the programme in October 2024 after discovering it through online research, drawn to the structured training and clear progression into data roles.

The Challenge
She wanted to:
- Move from operational and administrative roles into data analytics
- Build confidence using tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI
- Develop a clearer understanding of how to apply data in a business context
- Position herself for entry-level data roles

The Solution
Fariha first completed structured technical training and practical projects in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI, building confidence across core data tools and techniques.
She also completed industry-recognised certifications including PL-300 and CompTIA Data+, passing all exams on her first attempt for each, and demonstrating strong consistency and commitment throughout her learning journey.
Following successful completion of her training, we then moved into the recruitment support phase, which included:
- A full CV rebuild focused on repositioning operational experience into data and insight capability
- Structured job search strategy targeting data roles
- Elevator pitch development to clearly communicate her transition into data analytics
- Interview preparation to help translate real-world experience into structured analytical examples

The Results
- In January 2026, Fariha secured a role as a Customer Experience Data Administrator at Megger.
- She successfully transitioned into a data-focused role where she now supports customer experience through reporting, analysis, and actionable insights.
