Background
Aayushi has a background in education, program coordination, and data management, where working with data was a core part of improving reporting, planning, and operational outcomes. Alongside her professional experience, she completed a degree in Computer Science and had a strong interest in data analysis, mathematics, and problem solving throughout her studies.
While she had strong transferable analytical experience and technical foundations, she found it difficult to position herself competitively for dedicated data roles within the UK market.
She joined the programme in April 2025 looking for support to become job-ready for entry-level data opportunities.

The Challenge
Despite strong transferable experience, Aayushi was struggling to:
- Secure consistent interview opportunities for data roles
- Present previous experience in a way that aligned with data analytics positions
- Navigate the job market with a clear direction

The Solution
Aayushi first completed structured technical training and practical projects in Power BI, CompTIA Data+, and Microsoft Azure AI, while continuing to strengthen her skills in SQL, Python, Tableau, and data visualisation.
She also completed industry certifications including Microsoft Power BI, CompTIA Data+, and Microsoft Azure AI.
Following successful completion of her training, we then moved into the recruitment support phase, which included:
- A full CV rebuild focused on transferable analytics and reporting experience
- Structured job search guidance to target the right opportunities
- Elevator pitch development to improve how she communicated her experience and transition into data
- Interview preparation to build confidence when discussing technical skills and projects

The Results
- Within 11 months of starting the programme, Aayushi secured a role as a Power BI Developer at Cognizant, starting in March 2026.
- She successfully transitioned into a dedicated data-focused role where she now applies reporting, dashboarding, and analytical skills in a commercial environment.
