This course is for anyone beginning to work with data in the cloud. It is targeted toward individuals who want to build a foundational understanding of core data concepts and how they are implemented using Microsoft Azure data services. It acts as an excellent starting point before progressing to role-based certifications like Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Database Administrator Associate.
How does the Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals exam work?
This exam will be proctored, and is not open book. You will have 45 minutes to complete the assessment. You may have interactive components to complete as part of this exam. You need to obtain a score of 700 out of 1000 (70%) to pass.
How long is my Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) qualification valid for?
Unlike role-based certifications, Microsoft fundamental certifications such as the DP-900 do not expire. They are valid for a lifetime.
