Why should I get CompTIA SecAI+ certified?
The CompTIA SecAI+ certification holds immense value as the industry shifts toward artificial intelligence. Do I need to have any other qualifications before I take the CompTIA SecAI+?
While there are no strict mandatory prerequisites, we highly recommend having 3–4 years of IT experience, inclusive of 2+ years of hands-on cyber security experience. Having your CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or PenTest+ (or equivalent knowledge) is strongly advised before taking this course.
How does the CompTIA SecAI+ exam work?
Your boot camp includes an exam voucher to cover the test fee. Once you book your exam, you’ll have 60 minutes to answer a maximum of 60 questions. To pass, you need a score of at least 600 (on a scale of 100-900). The exam will include a mix of multiple-choice and performance-based questions.
What are performance-based questions?
The SecAI+ exam includes performance-based questions (PBQs) in diverse formats that challenge students to complete specific tasks or solve problems within simulated environments. For SecAI+, this might include securing a machine learning data pipeline or analyzing AI-driven malware. They are designed to assess practical skills and simulate real-world scenarios you will encounter in the workplace.

It will be valid for 3 years.
